Symantec Endpoint Protection pop up window?

Hello, I have just rolled out the latest Symantec Endpoint Protection on our corporate network. (test group) It is running on about 20 computers in 1 office right now, and we run VNC on all the remote computers. Once S.E.P. was installed on these 20 computers, they keep popping up with “commercialapps.2″ WINVnc pop up windows. Like it is seeing it as a threat. But no action is required. So it’s just a notification window. But the problem is, it happens about every 15 minutes or so. I can’t find a way to, at the least, silently log the message… not pop up. The users are all complaining about this. Anyone have any ideas on how to set S.E.P. to just log for the “commercialapps.2″ pop up?
I could remove the Vnc program and that would stop the pop up’s… you are correct, but I have done a search for SEP and the “commercialapps2″ pop up window. It appears that other programs are making this pop up window come up too. so with that thinking, I should remove every piece of software from all the computers except for XP and SEP.

That is not the best answer, since previous versions of Symantec did not have any issues with Vnc.

Stop using a hacked together piece of “Open Source” software like WinVNC and use professionally (and competently) developed commercial applications instead.

You are working in company test group, and sounds like you are using the test group to run test for other open source free-ware. If you are in charge of the test group IT, supporting the test group is your first and highest priority, remove that WINVnc software will stop the that message.

This same error occurs with logmein as well. I can vouch that this was not a problem with SAV 10.1 so I am finding it annoying as well.
