You would need to open the router interface page with your browser to find it on YOUR router. Read your router manual.

Open Set Up a Wireless Router or Access Point by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, and then clicking Network and Sharing Center. In the left pane, click Set up a connection or network, and then click Set up a wireless router or access point.

You need to type in your routers IP adress in your browser. For most routers the default is 192.168.0.1 or, 192.168.1.1 You might need a user name and password. if you have one set, use it, otherwise its the default one for your model of router. It might say on the bottem of your router. You must be physicaly plugged into your router before you do this! Use a cat5 ethernet cable.

that will log you into your routers “setup” page. here you can change many things. dont unless you know what your doing. Find that tab that handles wireless setup. under there you will find “wireless security” that is the password you need to know. just type in one that you like and save you changes and log out. You can now connect the the wireless access point and when it asks for your password, type the one you just put in. after you are secessfully connected to the wireless access point you can unplugg the physical cable connection.
